≈ Nina was a panelist at MCLE’s annual Employment Law Conference in December 2013 presenting on the topic of “21st Century Discrimination Claims.”

≈ In December 2013, Nina was a co-panelist at the Small Business Association of New England’s (SBANE) Human Capital Series: “Do Leaves of Absence Leave You Confused? Traps for the Unwary in Applying the FMLA and Other Leave Statutes.”

US Supreme Court building≈ On October 9, 2013, Nina chaired the BBA program “The Supremes: Review and Preview of 2013 Supreme Court and SJC Employment Cases.” This seminar discussed Supreme Court and Supreme Judicial Court employment law decisions from the prior Term and provided a preview of employment law cases to come in the current Term.
≈ Justine was the Chair, moderator and a presenter of MCLE’s “Mock Trial of an MCAD Retaliation Case” in July 2013.

≈ In July 2013, Nina joined the Women’s Bar Association’s (WBA) Legislative Policy Committee. The WBA Legislative Policy Committee advances various legislative priorities affecting women and the law. Nina is working with the Legislative Policy Committee on employment and civil rights initiatives.

award image≈ In 2013, Nina and Justine were again selected by Thomson Reuters/Boston Magazine as Massachusetts Super Lawyers, New England Super Lawyers, and Top Women Attorneys in Massachusetts in the area of Employment & Labor Law.      

≈ In April 2013, Justine was a Co-chair, moderator and a presenter and Nina was a presenter at the Boston Bar Association’s Continuing Legal Education’s “Employment Law Basics for 2013” featuring presentation of the Boston Bar Association’s publication Employment Law Guide: A Practical Guide to Understanding Massachusetts Employment Law.

≈ Nina was a co-panelist at SBANE’s Human Capital Series: “Progressive Discipline and Documentation, Layoffs and Terminations” in February 2013.
